Providing Packaging Since 1970
Bill Palmer founded Pacific Packaging Components, Inc. in 1970. The company’s first office was quaint with just enough room for 3 people. The office was located above a drugstore in Pasadena, California along the world-famous Rose Parade route. Claryce Palmer was not only the mother to their three children, but also dutifully served as secretary and accountant during the early stages of the business. Within a few years - they moved out of that small office and into their first office/warehouse in El Monte, California.
Bill Palmer recognized a need. He understood the relationship between manufacturers and customers is sometimes difficult and tenuous. In those days, most manufacturers would rather focus on manufacturing their product and rely on suppliers and distributors to market and sell their products. Palmer and his growing team supplied the cosmetic, personal care, nutraceutical, and food/beverage industries with cost-effective and high quality components.
Since 1970, Pacific Packaging Components has provided their customers with excellent customer service and high-quality packaging components. While much of the manufacturing industry has transferred to international vendors, Pacific Packaging Components also relies on a valuable framework of domestic manufacturers to bring quality components to their clients.
Fast forward almost 50 years, and Pacific Packaging Components is still a privately owned company. While many facets of the industry have changed, PPC remains loyal to serving their customers with cost-effective and quality packaging components. In speaking with the President, their mission became clear: “We provide packaging solutions. Many of our clients want something truly unique; others want to keep it simple and use stock packaging in new ways. No matter the need, we’re lean, poised, and ready to get the ball rolling to find the packaging success our customers deserve.” Here’s to the next 50 years!
